Blue & White Plaid Tin Lithograph Dome & White Bead Earrings

Regular price $15.00

I made these earrings by cutting circular discs out of vintage tin lithograph scraps, & doming them with a dapping block.  Lithography is a method of printing that dates back to the 1790s.  During the early & mid-20th century, lithography was used to produce brightly colored tin that was used in toys, TV trays, lunch boxes, candy containers, doll houses & other items.  The earrings measure just over 1.5” from the base of the earring wires which are silvertone.
