Copper r-e-s-i-s-t & Resistor Bracelet

Copper r-e-s-i-s-t & Resistor Bracelet

I made this bracelet by stamping the letters r-e-s-i-s-t onto copper discs that I patinated with liver of sulfur & highlighted the letters in white.  I connected them with 4 vintage electrical resistors & silver-tone jump rings, with 3 more resistors at the end..  Resistors are electrical parts used to resist or reduce electrical current flow, divide voltages, or terminate transmission lines, etc.  I like their shape & colors, & enjoy using them as part of a social statement.  The bracelet measures 7.5” to 9” around.
