Lithograph Tin Domed Disc & Silvertone Ring Earrings.  I made these earrings with silvertone rings from broken jewelry & discs that I cut from 2 different pieces of lithograph tine & then domed with a dapping block.  Lithography is a printing method from the 1790s.  During the early & mid-20th century, lithography was used to produce brightly colored tin that was used in toys, TV trays, lunch boxes, candy containers, doll houses & other items.  The earrings measure 1.25” from the base of the earring wires, which are non-allergenic niobium.
