Reversible Riveted Floral & Oriental Torus Lithograph Tin Necklace

Regular price $35.00

I made this necklace by riveting together 2 pieces of lithograph tin that I'd cut out in the shape of a partial torus/donut shape.  Lithography is a printing method that dates to the 1790s.  During the early/mid-20th century, it was used to produce brightly colored tin used in toys, TV trays, lunch boxes, candy containers, doll houses & other items.  The chain is brass flattened elongated cable link, with a coral gemstone bead at back.  The necklace is adjustable at 17.5”, 18.75” or 20.25” around; the pendant measures 1” x 2”.
