Water Lily Tin Lithograph Dome & Gold Bead Earrings

Regular price $20.00

For these earrings, I used discs that I cut from vintage lithograph tin scraps & domed with a dapping block, as well as small gold beads from a broken necklace.  Lithography is a method of printing that dates back to the 1790s.  During the early & mid-20th century, lithography was used to produce brightly colored tin that was used in toys, TV trays, lunch boxes, candy containers, doll houses & other items.  The earrings measure 1.5” from the base of the earring wires, which are goldtone.
